-Moderate drinkers tend to have lower levels of fibrinogen, a protein that promotes blood clots.

-Moderate drinking "is associated with fewer brain lesions and so-called silent strokes."
-Reduces the risk of kidney stones as long as other water-based liquids are consumed in generous quantities as well.
-Drinking beer helps to improve the circulation of blood in the brain.
